How I can help you

Based in Yapton, I’m easily reached from Littlehampton, Arundel, Chichester & Worthing.  I work with clients across Sussex in my therapy room.  I also work nationally via webcam.  I use a combination of hypnotherapy, coaching techniques & mindfulness to find the right combination of support for you. Everyone is unique and I work hard to create a treatment / coaching programme that is focused to your particular needs.

The techniques I use.
Hypnotherapy combines therapy and hypnosis and uses the power of positive suggestion.  During hypnosis your conscious mind, where your mind is busy with day to day life, is at rest and calm, while your subconscious mind is open and receptive to suggestions.  Modern psychology describes hypnosis as a ‘state of increased suggestibility’.  This increased suggestibility is able to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.  Oh and it’s a really enjoyable experience, my clients love the feeling of hypnosis and I teach them how to use self-hypnosis so they can continue benefitting long after our sessions have finished.
Overview of my services.
As a hypnotherapist I work in collaboration with my clients to achieve hypnosis and then suggest powerfully crafted thoughts, ideas and visualisations that introduce deep levels of change.  Through the process of working together we examine the scripts that your mind is playing and create more resourceful, positive and powerful scripts that help to change the way you think, feel and behave. Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy integrates hypnosis and hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).  We’ll work together really collaboratively to understand what your issue or problem is and map out a working model of how the issue or problem works.  Then supporting you to become aware of the thoughts and feelings that influence your behaviour and the behavioural patterns that reinforce the negative thinking.  As you will discover it is a cycle that, once understood, can be broken and redirected. Mindfulness brings calm and space to your life, I will work with you to help you develop your own practice, allowing you to step back from your thoughts and emotions, more information about Mindfulness is here.

About Me

I use hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, mindfulness and meditation and neurolinguistic programming (NLP), which I combine with traditional coaching techniques to help people achieve their potential or to overcome the things in their lives that are holding them back.

I will work with you to find the best way to help you do the things you want to do – or stop them of course, and in a way that you can maintain long term.
