Online Hypnotherapy & Coaching

Hypnotherapy and Coaching Online

There are times in our lives when we may need a little help.  Either because we’re struggling with stress or anxiety, maybe a fear or phobia is becoming a bigger issue, a habit is becoming debilitating or we’re suffering from low mood and depression.

Therapy is often the answer, but in an already busy, complicated life, the further challenge of finding a therapist close enough to fit into your schedule could mean you put your wellbeing on hold and keep going without that much needed support.

Online therapy could be the answer.

With online therapy there’s no need to search for a therapist in your area.  And if you’re working full-time, doing shift work or juggling caring responsibilities.   It may be that you have a physical or mental disability that creates issues such as wheelchair access or a condition such as agoraphobia.

Online therapy means that you can arrange your therapy sessions at a time and place that suits you, without adding time for travel, parking, traffic congestion and so on. Instead you attend the sessions from the comfort of your own home, or from a private room at work during a break, or wherever suits you.

Sessions are conducted via Skype or Zoom.

Insight Session

The first step is to book an ‘Insight Session’ with me.  This session is a 20 – 30 minute session for us to connect.  It is an opportunity for me to understand exactly what your issue is, what you want help with and for you to ask me any questions you have about my approach and how I work.

You can also ask all your questions about hypnosis, how effective it is, what it feels like and so on before you commit to scheduling sessions.

Online therapy isn’t suitable for everyone.  It’s important for us both to consider whether this approach will work for you or whether face to face sessions may be a better choice.  You could also decide to combine face to face sessions with online sessions, dependent on your circumstances and location.

This initial Insight Session is absolutely free.

Is It Effective?

Online therapy is a growing area and it makes sense in an age of such technological capability.  But is it as effective as good old-fashioned face to face therapy?  There have been a number of studies and reviews which have shown that online therapy does lead to successful outcomes, therapists and clients are able to build strong and beneficial relationships and the online approach is seen as a legitimate therapeutic approach.
